Hello, Universe?
I love my note from the Universe today. Maybe its the food reflection, the meal aspect of it. Perhaps it is about where I am in my body right now. Simple, little, but somehow it packed a whollop for me today. Maybe, its just one of those days. Anyway, what about you. Hungry for a full meal deal anyone?

A note from my universe today
The reason others think they need you, Rachel, is because they don't yet fully believe that they already have all that it takes to have all that they want. So they pretend you hold the key.
And vice versa.Tallyho,

Drops Like Stars

From Robbell.com and the Drops Like Stars show/event/evening.
We plot, we plan, we assume things are going to go
A certain way and then they don’t and we find ourselves
In a new place, a place we haven’t been before, a place
We never would have imagined on our own,And so it was difficult and unexpected and maybe even
Tragic and yet it opened us up and freed us to see
Things in a whole new waySuffering does that—
It hurts,
But it also creates. How many of the most significant moments in your
Life came not because it all went right, but because
It all fell apart? It’s strange how there can be art in the agony…

Little chance of anything else
In an age where there is much talk about "being yourself," I reserve to myself the right to forget about being myself, since in any case there is very little chance of my being anybody else.

WORD FOR THE DAY
Sunday, Aug. 2Holiness comes wrapped in the ordinary. There are burning bushes all around you. Every tree is full of angels. Hidden beauty is waiting in every crumb.
